I teach many types of workshops for adults, all with a sufficient level of fun, safety and challenge.
The current workshop series I am running independently is aimed at people looking to improve their poetic practice through investigation and exploration. Here participants are encouraged to take risks in a supportive environment, and use the skills needed to succeed in further writing-related pursuits, such as seeking and gaining feedback from others about their work, developing pertinent lines of self-reflective questioning, and preparing themselves for higher education applications. (For further one-to-one coaching and support with this, please contact.)
“For people looking to improve their poetic practice through investigation and exploration. Participants are encouraged to take risks in a safe and supportive environment.”
They are also helpful to adults who just want a breakthrough in their writing style. This could mean trying new and different techniques, attempting new forms, broadening their reading, or freshening and growing as writers.
A dynamic mix of the literary and social, these workshops are an opportunity to become part of a social community. For further information, please use the contact form and ask for ‘Current Courses’. Places are limited, and there are some assisted places, so you’re encouraged to apply as soon as you can.
